1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and the Omnelo team, which operates the service (contact: support@omnelo.app). By creating an account or using Omnelo, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement and meet the minimum age requirements that apply where you live.
2. The Omnelo service
Omnelo is a managed mobile speaking-practice service. It may provide conversation modes, speech processing, corrections, session review, Notebook, vocabulary, progress, personal memory, coaching, planning, and reminders. The official mobile app uses Omnelo-operated backend services. Features may change as the product develops and improves while preserving applicable consumer rights.
When the core learning logic is published in a public repository, it will be shared free for educational use. All use remains subject to the license included with that repository. Running or modifying that code creates an independent deployment; it is not an Omnelo hosted service, subscription plan, or supported product environment. The person operating that deployment is responsible for setup, providers, credentials, security, data handling, costs, and legal compliance.
3. Your account
You are responsible for information supplied through your account and for keeping access to your email and device secure. Do not share passwords or verification codes. Tell us promptly if you believe your account is being used without permission.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Omnelo to break the law, harm or harass others, impersonate another person, interfere with the service, probe security, distribute malware, scrape the service at scale, evade usage limits, or submit content you do not have the right to use.
You retain rights in content you provide. You give Omnelo the limited permission needed to process that content for operating, securing, supporting, and improving the service as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. AI and learning feedback
Omnelo uses automated systems. Transcripts, corrections, translations, explanations, and progress signals can be inaccurate. Omnelo is a practice tool, not a certified teacher, examination authority, employment adviser, or professional service. You should use your own judgment for important communication.
6. Intellectual property
The Omnelo name, brand, official app design, original content, and hosted-service features are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Publicly released source code is governed by the license included in its repository; that license does not grant rights to the Omnelo name or brand unless it expressly says so.
7. Free usage and credits
Omnelo is pay-as-you-go. The mobile app may include complimentary usage credits so you can start practising without payment, and paid credit packs may provide additional usage. There is no subscription: nothing renews, and nothing charges you on a schedule. Before any purchase, the app-store screen will show the price and the included allowance.
Different quality settings consume credits at different rates, and the app tells you why before you choose. A setting that runs speech processing on your own device costs fewer credits because it uses your device’s resources; settings that use our servers and stronger AI models deliver a better experience and consume more. The rate for each setting is shown in the app before you use it.
Usage credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and are consumed according to the usage shown in the app. Any expiry rule will be disclosed before purchase. Billing, chargeback, and refund requests for store purchases are also subject to the relevant app store’s rules and consumer-law requirements. Deleting your Omnelo account forfeits any remaining complimentary credits; paid, unused credit handling will follow the store’s refund rules.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Omnelo and request deletion of your account. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, unpaid charges, or material violation of these terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to appeal.
9. Availability and liability
Omnelo is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or a particular learning outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. Any dispute will be handled under the applicable law and by a competent authority or court.
10. Changes
We may update these terms when the service or applicable requirements change. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable notice through the app, website, or account email.
